James Kinds

Born in Drew, Mississippi

James Kinds was born in Drew, Mississippi in the year 1943. Inspired by juke-joint blues and rock and roll as well as southern gospel, he made his rounds as a vocalist and performer in the south and the Chicago area before touching down in Iowa. James is a treasure, one of the last of a vanishing breed of true bluesmen. He is backed by the All-Night Riders, a hard hitting and versatile group of gents.
