Sam Taylor’s experience as a musician is legendary. As well as performing his craft, his reach has grasped moments as a TV and movie actor who has had the pleasure of working among the best which include Barbara Eden, Don Murray, Pam Grier, Richard Roundtree, Gwen Gorg, Gary Crosby, Kay Medford, Lou Gossett. Jr., and most recently, Mario Van Peebles. Sam Taylor has made Tucson, Arizona his home for over a decade and earned countless awards and recognition. Sam Taylor published and recorded songs for Son Seals, Coco Montoya, Debbie Davies, Brook Benton, Jimmy Witherspoon, John "Juke" Logan, Freddie King, Joey Dee & the Starlighters, Sam and Dave, B.T. Express, Joe Tex, Esther Phillips, Maxine Brown, and Jay and the Americans. He works as professional guitarist since 1956 and played with Otis Redding, Maxine Brown, The Drifters, Big Joe Turner, T-Bone Walker, The Isley Brothers, Albert Collins, Joey Dee & the Starlighters, Sam and Dave, Joe Frazier and the Knockouts, Tracy Nelson and Mother Earth and The Olympics. Sam "Bluzman" Taylor works as professional vocalist since 1950. He sang with The Drifters, Joey Dee & the Starlighters, The Rascals, Timi Yuro, The Olympics, Maxine Brown, Tracy Nelson and Mother Earth, Joe Frazier. Sam "Bluzman" Taylor records professionally since 1959. Labels include: Atlantic, Colpix (Columbia), Capitol, Roulette, ABC SI, Stax, Road Show, and Trope Records.
